Alternate Fuel Firing

Cement production has advanced greatly in the last few decades. The traditional fuels used in traditional kilns include coal, oil, petroleum coke, and natural gas. The substitution of fossil fuels by alternative fuels (AF) in the production of cement clinker is of great importance both for cement producers and for society because it conserves fossil fuel reserves and, in the case of biogenic wastes, reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, the use of alternative fuels can help to reduce the costs of cement production.

Onsite Audit for Cement Plant & Mines

With a strong emphasis on finding ways and means of cutting and containing the cost of cement production with reduced energy consumption levels. Measures based on in-plant studies were suggested for different sections of the cement plant to improve the performance of major equipment and streamline the plant operation.

Follow-up visits to the cement plant will help the management to prepare a roadmap for successful implementation of the measures, identify bottlenecks, justify future plans and proposed investments and maintain the good health of the cement plant.

Plant Upgrade & Modification

Considering various factors, all cement plants constantly carrying out the upgrading works. The complexity of the new dry process management is the non-reproducibility, even use the same design and drawings, the adjacent two production lines may have a great difference in production quality, consumption and so on, due to the construction of refractory, adjustment of coal injection pipe, process operation level, and etc.

In order to reduce the production cost of cement clinker, the most effective way is to increase the output of cement clinker, reduce fuel consumption and electricity, it is necessary to find out the bottleneck and improve the production.

Detailed Raw Materials Investigations

Limestone is the main constituent as raw material used in manufacturing of cement. The representative limestone's samples from different geological beds of the proposed area were collected and were investigated petrographic study, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy coupled with X-ray diffraction (SEM-EDX), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and reserve estimation of the proposed deposit was carried out using Geological Information System (GIS).

After analysis of results, it is concluded that limestone and other raw materials is of good quality and can fulfills the international standards of cement and limestone

Feasibility Study For Limestone Mining

SLT works with Clients to provide a complete Feasibility Study for both new entrants to a market as well as major upgrades and new cement plants for an existing cement producer.
